  • 7/1/2018 – American Truck Historical Society shows in July

    Chapters of the American Truck Historical Society have several events scheduled in July.

    • Saturday and Sunday, the Long Island Chapter holds its 17th annual Antique Classic and Working Truck Show at the Long Island Antique Power Association Show Grounds in Riverhead, N.Y.;
    • The Steel Valleys Chapter will hold its 19th annual Antique Truck Show Saturday at Kenworth of Pennsylvania in New Stanton.
    • Also Saturday and Sunday is the Vancouver Island Truck Show, taking place at the B.C. Forest Discovery Centre in Duncan, British Columbia;
    • The I and I Historic Farm Days, which is organized by the Kickapoo Chapter, takes place in Penfield, Ill., July 12th through the 15th;
    • The 5th annual Palouse Chapter Truck Show takes place in conjunction with Bovill Old Timers Day July 14th at Main Street and Highway 3 in Bovill, Idaho.
    • The Upper Delaware Valley Truck Show is July 15th at the Wayne County Fair Grounds in Honesdale, Pa.;
    • The Antique Truck Club of America’s Penn-Ohio Chapter will present its Class 8 on the Lake Truck Show July 21st at Indian Creek Camping Resort in Geneva-On-The-Lake, Ohio;
    • The Central Coast Chapter Cooler Truck Show is July 21st at Nipomo High School in Nipomo, Calif.;
    • The Northwest Chapter 23rd Annual Truck Show is July 23rd at the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds in Elma, Wash.;
    • The Collier Memorial State Park Log Truck Show is scheduled for July 21st at the park near NChiloquin, Ore. Both modern and historical trucks will be featured at the Logging Museum on site. For information, call 541-783-2471 x24 or email kemper@oregon.gov.

  • 7/7/2018 – American Truck Historical Society chapter shows for July

    Chapters of the American Truck Historical Society have several events scheduled in July.

    The Vancouver Island Truck Show takes place July 7th and 8th at the B.C. Forest Discovery Centre in Duncan, British Columbia.

    The Central NY Chapter Truck Show takes place July 8th at Longbranch Park in Liverpool, New York.

    The 5th Annual Palouse Chapter Truck Show will take place July 14th in conjunction with Bovill Old Timers Day in the city park in Bofill, Idaho.

    The Central Coast Chapter Cooler Truck Show takes place July 21 at Nipomo High School in Nipomo, California.

  • 7/20/2018 – Expedite Expo

    The only truck show specifically designed for the expediting segment of the industry – the Expedite Expo – takes place July 20th and 21st at the Lexington Center in Lexington, Kentucky. The event features exhibitors, but it is better known for its educational seminars and networking opportunities. A casino night, barbecue and giveaways are also featured.

  • 7/27/2018 – The Top Gun Large Car Shootout

    The Top Gun Large Car Shootout is scheduled for July 27th through the 29th in Rantoul, Illinois. Live music, food, vendors and more are offered at the event, which takes place at the Rantoul National Aviation Center. A parade of lights is also scheduled for that Friday night. And the Spirit of the American Trucker will be onsite for the event.

  • 8/1/2018 – American Truck Historical Society shows in August

    Chapters of the American Truck Historical Society have several events scheduled in August.

    • The 14th Annual Iowa-Nebraska Classic Truck Show takes place Aug. 3rd and 4th at the Sapp Brothers Truck Stop in Omaha, Neb.;
    • The 17th Annual Vintage Truck Magazine Truck Show will be Aug. 4th at Young’s Jersey Dairy in Yellow Springs, Ohio;
    • 4th is also the date for the Green Mountain Chapter Truck Show in Westminster, Vt.;
    • The Empire State Antique Truck Show is Aug. 4th and 5th at the Stafford Firemens Grounds East of Batavia, N.Y.;
    • The Illinois Railway Museum Truck Show is scheduled for Aug. 5th at the Museum in Union, Ill.;
    • 24th and 25th are the dates for the 26th Annual Brooks Truck Show at the Pacific Northwest Truck Museum at Antique Powerland in Brooks, Ore.;
    • The Susquehanna Valley Chapter and Kenworth of PA Annual Antique Truck Show is Aug. 25th in Carlisle, Pennsylvania;
  • 8/3/2018 – Carlisle Truck Nationals

    The Carlisle Truck Nationals will take place August 3rd through the 5th at the Fairgrounds in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The event includes a show of around 2,000 trucks, Jeeps and SUVs. Events include burnout contests, low truck limbo, high truck contest, frame dragging, a beauty pageant competition and a monster truck show.

  • 8/4/2018 – American Truck Historical Society chapter shows for August

    Chapters of the American Truck Historical Society have several events scheduled in August.

    The Empire State Antique Truck Show takes place August 4th and 5th at  the Stafford Firemens Grounds near Batavia, New York.

    The 26th Annual Brooks Truck Show is set for August 24th and 25th the Pacific Northwest Truck Museum at Antique Powerland in Brooks, Oregon.

    The Watts 11th Annual Truck and Equipment Show takes place August 25th at the ew Alexandria Lions Club Demo Derby Grounds in New Alexandria, Pennsylvania.

  • 8/9/2018 – Brockway Truck Show

    August 9th through the 12th brings us the annual Brockway Truck Show in Cortland, New York. Events are scheduled all through the city, including a Brockway truck convoy; a wine, beer and cider tasting; truck parade, exhibits at the Brockway Museum; and fireworks.

  • 8/10/2018 – Waupun Truck ‘N Show

    The Waupun Truck ‘N Show will take place in Waupun, Wisconsin on August 10th and 11th. Show trucks, parades, and a Jake Brake contest are featured, as are food, vendors and entertainment. And Friday night, there will be a Lights of the Night Convoy. A portion of the proceeds from the event benefit Special Olympics and the Make –a-Wish Foundation.

  • 8/17/2018 – Eau Claire Big Rig Truck Show

    Then August 17th through the 19th, the Eau Claire Big Rig Truck Show will take place at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair Grounds in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The show has become a huge event, featuring exhibitors, monster trucks, show trucks, music, food and more. Several parts of the event benefit local charities.

  • 8/19/2018 – Chi-Town Large Cars Lucky 13 Benefit and Show

    The Chi-Town Large Cars Lucky 13 Benefit and Show is scheduled for August 19th and 20th at the Porter County Fairgrounds in Valparaiso, Indiana. Show trucks, classic cars, music and more are featured. Proceeds go to the Canines for Veterans organization, and the event will also work to raise awareness of veteran suicides.

  • 8/23/2018 – The Great American Trucking Show

    August 23rd through the 25th are the dates for the Great American Trucking Show, taking place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Dallas, Texas. The event, the second largest trade show in the industry, includes numerous exhibitors, educational seminars, an indoor show truck competition and a concert.

    Satellite parking with food, showers and portable restrooms is available at the far side of the State Fair of Texas, about 3 miles east. Shuttle service is available to and from the show. Other events include the Roadhouse Run to benefit the St. Christopher Fund and the Trucker Talent Search.

  • 9/1/2018 – American Truck Historical Society chapter shows for September

    Chapters of the American Truck Historical Society have several events scheduled in September.

    The Palmetto Upstate Chapter Fall Show takes place Sept. 1st and 2nd, in conjunction with the Dacusville Heritage Association Family Farm Days in Easley, South Carolina.

    The 17th Annual Rocky Mountain Chapter Truck Show will happen September 8th at the Art Robinson Transport Museum in Salina, Utah.

    The 48th Annual LaGrange Engine Show and Northeast Ohio Chapter Show takes place at the Lorain County Fairgrounds in Wellington, Ohio.

    The San Juan Chapter 14th Annual Classic Truck and Vehicle Show takes place September 14th through the 16th at Riverside Park in Aztec, New Mexico.

    The Blue Mountain Chapter Truck Show is September 15th at the Fort Walla Walla Museum in Walla Walla, Washington.

    The Tri State Truck Show is scheduled for September 20th to the 22nd at the fairgrounds in Clear Brook, Virginia.

    And the Metro Jersey Chapter Fall Show is set for September 30th at Skylands Stadium in Augusta, New Jersey.

  • 9/7/2018 – Big Iron Classic

    The Big Iron Classic Truck Show and Charity Drive takes place September 7th and 8th at the Dodge County Fairgrounds in Kasson, Minnesota. The event features show trucks, live entertainment and a truck pull. Also, participants will take part in a Parade of Big Rigs through the nearby town of Mantorville, and a light show.

  • 9/14/2018 – Richard Crane Memorial Truck Show

    The 23rd annual Richard Crane Memorial Truck Show will take place September 14th through the 16th in St. Ignace, Michigan. In addition to show trucks and classic cars, the event features one of the most beautiful sights in the industry, the Parade of Lights over the Mackinac Bridge.

  • 9/28/2018 – Guilty By Association Truck Show

    September 28th and 29th are the dates for the 10th annual Guilty By Association Truck Show at Four State Trucks in Joplin, Missouri. The event is a “no-pressure” competition open to all large trucks, with awards give out primarily for People’s Choice. Exhibitor are scattered throughout the site, with events like truck burnouts through both days. A truck pull takes place on site Friday night, and Saturday, the Missouri World’s Largest Truck Convoy will take off from Four State Trucks and travel to downtown Joplin for a light show, street party and concert. That concert will feature the band Confederate Railroad. Also featured during the event are big rig burnouts, shop tours and a motorcycle stunt rider show. And don’t forget to stop by the Spirit of the American Trucker while you’re there. I’ll be there with Jon, along with our producer Barry Spillman, but we all know everyone is actually stopping by to see Sassy.

  • 11/12/2018 – Women in Trucking Accelerate! Conference

    The Women in Trucking Accelerate! Conference and Expo is scheduled for November 12th through the 14th at  the Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Frisco Hotel Convention Center near Dallas, Texas. The event features a trade show and more than 30 business and improvement seminars, as well as the announcement of the organization’s Most Influential Woman in Trucking Award winner.
